Chimera Entertainment gewinnt Deutschen Entwicklerpreis 2008

The independent games developer based in Munich was given the sponsorship award by the jury.

Munich, 5^th of December 2008 – Excellent videogames made in Bavaria: In the scope of the “Deutscher Entwicklerpreis”, the German Game Developer Award, a Munich games developer was awarded for the first time. The jury awarded the sponsorship award for innovative start-sps to Chimera Entertainment, who were nominated for their debut-title “Windchaser”.

The CEO Hendrik Lesser thinks that the success of his team is groundbreaking for games development in Bavaria:”With Chimera Entertainment we have proven that start-up companies can be successful right from university. With our studio, we want to provide talented newcomers to the games-branch with perspectives and to create a base for the growing games developer scene in Munich.

2007 Chimera Entertainment was already awarded with the LARA Start Up Award as innovative games developer by the Bavarian Ministry of State. Currently the team is working on different projects for PC and console.
